It is our mission at Kiddie Kollege Early Learning Center to provide high quality early childhood education experiences to your children. It is of utmost importance to us, to equip them with a love for learning that will last a lifetime. We will constantly strive to meet and exceed standards set forth by the State of North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early education. We will give children at KKELC an environment where they feel safe and secure. We strive to maintain a nurturing atmosphere where children can grow, learn, and discover.  

 

PHILOSOPHY:

Kiddie Kollege ELC, will at all times strive to maintain an environment conducive to the development of the whole child… physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially.

We feel that very young children learn best through hands on play with materials and interacting with their peers. This is how they understand and express their view of the world around them. It is our goal to provide an environment, which is rich in opportunities for children to build self-esteem, develop self-help skills, develop and satisfy their curiosity and stimulate their creativity. It is our desire that children in our care develop skills that they will use to succeed throughout their lives. Our program requirements are built on the belief that in order for children to be successful academically in school, they need to be prepared in all of the five developmental domains of learning outlined by the National Education Goals Panel. We believe that each of these domains is critical to the child’s success in reading and math as they begin school. The five domains of learning that our teachers work to establish with your children are:

*Kiddie Kollege early childhood educators currently use the High Scope Curriculum and COR (child observational record) to meet the education standard component of our five star license.
